Complex’s 100 Best Air Jordans of All Time

Setting out to rank the Air Jordan Legacy and its individual releases might be the single most difficult ranking task in all of sneakerhead culture. How on earth are you supposed to objectively assess the value of (so many different) shoes that have unique meanings for each of their devotees?! The way Sneaker News has done it over the past couple years is to give our readers a chance to vote in our March Madness Air Jordan tournaments, but each person who submitted a pick has their own top 10 (or 100) in mind. Multiply that by itself and you’ve got a sense of the scope of Russ Bengtson’s ambitious project to rank Complex’s 100 Best Air Jordans, a list that’s absolutely guaranteed to cause its fair share of dissention. We’ve selected one from each group of ten (100-91, 90-81, and so on) to give you a sense of what’s in store, so check out the sneak peek and then head over to Complex for the full list.

The top 5 jordans should be Grape 5s, Raptor 7s, Bred 12s, DMP 6/11s, and Bred 13s
All White/ metallic silver 5s missing, oreo 4s missing, french blue 7s missing, columbias should be higher.... this list is off.... plus the mochas should be way higher than where theyre at.
Pffft.. How the hell are any of the 2011's and the 2012's better than the Encore 4's and Doernbecher 6's? GTFO
i see where the bc3s take the cake, and at least complex defend its point. personally, the bred 1s would have been #1. the greatest way to draw attention to something is to have it banned, and to invest so much in a fresh player like jordan is a strategy that eventually started a legacy that became a gamechanger in the way people saw sneakers. no one could have foreseen it. there is no other jordan that could be #1 in my mind.
I know everyone has their own opinions, but Bordeaux's at 43?! How can ANYONE agree with them being that low?
