In 2006, Jordan Brand pair a worthy and impressive tribute to Spike Lee by giving him his own signature sneaker called the Jordan Spiz’ike – a hybrid of all the Air Jordans the Spike’s alter ego of Mars Blackmon chipped in for during their original debuts. We also remember the ‘Mar’s Jordan IV, which featured the OG White/Red/Black colorway with the Mars Blackmon logo on the heel, but Jordan Brand, for this year’s 23rd Anniversary, decided to bring it back sans-Mars (although the spirit of Blackmon will never be forgotten). Today we bring you a first detailed look at this upcoming release (currently slated for August), which should be the perfect OG-Air Jordan hit of the summer – much like last year’s True Blue III was. Is it Fire Red, or Varsity Red? We’ll find out the true color selection as more information pops up, but these will be a major hit either way. A detailed viewing awaits you below, so jump ahead and let us know what you think. Photos: marqueesole

I will always love these shoes. maybe I will catch them on the 15th release since resellers are greedy as hell. Or maybe I should get with their mom so she can buy me a pair
I'm glad these don't have Spike Lee's ugly-a s s mug on the side of them. I can't stand that doofy looking fuker.
Looking real good real good. Who's gonna be the first to complain about quality cuz sumbody is. Anyhow im down for 2 of these
The 4's are the sneaker that changed the game... IMO, the look is classic, and still looks "hi-tech"... I just wore my cements for the first time this year... and Im waiting for these to come out and for the Blacks... love the shoes everything...
I already know that I wont be able to cop these unless I quit my job, make plans to camp out in front of my local spot for 2-3 days, or watch my twitter account for 24 hours straight. However, I feel good knowing that I can always get them online the next day for 4 to 5 times there retail price.....
I feel ya. Pre-orderin is the only way i can get kicks now .. It sucks bc its usually 50 over retail
hmm there okaay...but too much heat coming gotta use your money wisely or you could end up not copping the pair you really wanted...just my opinion
