Don’t look now, but Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers are up 2-0 in their series with the Denver Nuggets, and could meet the San Antonio Spurs in the second round – familiar fighting grounds for these two franchises. For Game 2, Kobe Bryant switched from ‘Elite’ to ‘System’ as he dropped 38 nuggets on the Nuggets while wearing a Purple/White PE colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII Supreme. As the Lakers now take the short flight to Denver for Game 3, we should expect to see the Mamba wear the Black/Purple PE of the Zoom Kobe VII Elite (the Gold issues are against league regulations), so we’ll keep you in tune with that. More on Kobe’s Game 2 PE below, so take a look and if you like ’em, you can actually build your own on Nike iD! Photos: espn
I don't understand why the gold version is against regulation. Players have been wearing shoes that don't match their jerseys all year long but the Elite Gold actually matches the Lakers and Heat jerseys. Look at Ty Lawson, he's been wearing LBJ's all season and they never match his jersey.
i asssume kobe got fulll zoom air in all his kix. loved the elite concord pe..game 2 purple inks looks dope..wanna know if he rocks an elite pe road in game3? huge game...i want a sweep!
I wonder if Kobe actually has phylon in those supremes like the GR's or does he have Nike give him full length zoom air?
Only one game in the elites and back to the standards? SMH! Guess he needed the extra ankle support. Well the standards got him 7 more points over the previous night and I got to admit the purple/white colorway is dope.
KOBE!!! lol... I love how he shook Brewer like he was on the JV team. Using those Jordan tricks and getting away with it.
