Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke For Dirk Nowitzki

Dirk Nowitzki might go down as the most underrated and overshadowed Hall-of-Famer in history. The long-haired and lanky German went to the Finals twice in the era rife with elite-level superstars like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Kobe Bryant, and some could argue that he should’ve had not one, but two NBA titles (both against the Miami Heat). On June 12th, 2011, Dirk let the Dallas Mavericks to its first ever NBA Title, repaying owner Mark Cuban for his loyalty and giving the city of Dallas a true sports hero to idolize. With the NBA Playoffs now in full force, Nike Sportswear spotted Dirk with these sick Air Force 1 Bespokes, constructed in a faded black denim with ‘DIRK’ stitched on the heel, his jersey number of ’41’ on the tongue, and a dope silhouette logo on the heel, mimicking his trademark asymmetrical fadeaway jumper. We’ve got some image stills and a video below, so take a look and let us know if you think Dirk has what it takes to come back from down 2-0 against the Thunder and repeat as an NBA Champ!
