“All dreams are crazy until they come true. Dirk did it.”
Earlier today we gave you a sneak peek at a pair of Bespokes made for Dirk Nowitzki, celebrating the realization of a dream he had fourteen years ago. Not only did he realize his own dream, he capitalized on a dream that all NBA players have – winning the Larry O’Brien and getting one of the most ornately designed Championship rings in history (having Mark Cuban as the team owner will do that). Nike Sportswear presented the Air Force 1 Bespoke, designed by Nike iD designer Israel Matteo, to Dirk in a hand-made wooden box built by actual NBA court hardwood with Nike’s special message to Dirk engraved on the outer face of the box. We’ve got more on this sick 1-of-1 made for NBA Champion Dirk Nowitzki below so take a look and let us know what you think of the design!
Stuff like this pisses me off. These are one of the freshest af1 colorways I've seen since the linens, and I've been into forces more than most of y'all been around. Nike is clearly capable of coming up with colorways like this, and yet they still choose not to release them. WHY NIKE? WHY? Let your loyal customers have what they have been craving for years. Colorways and concepts like these releasing, even without all the Dirk stuff, would completely change the sneaker game for the better. We've seen N-SB do this kind of stuff, now it's time for that to catch on. Common Nike!!!
GO GERMANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALLEMAGNE!!! ALEMANIA!!!! DEUTSCHLAND...DEUTSCHLAND...DEUTSCHLAND!!!! For the 60 Million German-Americans living in the USA, CHEERS FOR DIRK!!!!
really nice kick :o the AF1 isnt my favourite shoe but this is very nice!!!! When they Drop i would buy them but is always a bespoke -.-'
This is one of the best Bespokes I've seen. Its nice to see a design with a little class. The shoe case is a great touch. CLASSIC
I guess I'm not the only one who thinks the same way LOL! I bet, Nike has tons of Bespoke materials not being used to create dope AF1's! I mean, how hard can it be to create dope AF1's!? Probably, so easy; a caveman can do it!
like the concept, feeling the shoe. hot stuff right here. you saw his face when he opened the box: priceless. when nike want to do something right they execute
