The Air Force 1 missed inclusion in the Nike Basketball Elite Series by about three decades, but here’s a look at what it might have looked like in a similar setup. This new Nike Air Force 1 Low matches the style of this spring with a clean black and white combo, and thanks to just the slightest hint of Spirit Gold on the midsole branding, these find a common link with the aforementioned cutting edge drops. And though it might not be fair to compare these with modern technical marvels, those new designs will be lucky to have one-tenth the career the AF1 has enjoyed over these past thirty years.
