Nike Zoom Flight Uptempo – White – Metallic Gold – Black

Nike Basketball has enjoyed a wildly season despite fewer NBA games, everything from standout college PEs to an All-Star weekend frenzy and now a mortal lock that one of its stars will be hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy. But one look at the sneaker pictured above will bring serious questions into the mind of anyone old enough to remember its debut; might the 1996-97 season have been even ‘Elite’-er? The Nike Zoom Flight Uptempo is pictured above in another Elite Series-leaning colorup that reminds us peers like the Air Penny II, Air Max Uptempo 97 and, of course, Air Jordan XII would have made for some serious competition in white and black with gold accents. Let us know how these compare to the Swoosh’s modern marvels and stick with Sneaker News to see if this Japanese favorite hits retail in the US. Photos: AR
