Classics Revisited: Nike Air Foamposite One – Black – Dark Army (2008)

So, we covered the 2007 releases of new Foamposite One colorways for Classics Revisited already. 2008 would prove to be a bit of a slow-down year, as this House-of-Hoops Exclusive release of the Black/Dark Army Foamposite One, otherwise called the ‘Dark Army Foams’, would prove to be the only new Foamposite One colorway (the Royal Foams dropped again in 2008 as a HoH-exclusive). The Dark Army Foamposite released on August, 28th, 2008, at House of Hoops in Harlem, NYC, and featured a solid black upper with a white Swoosh at the forefoot, paired with a Dark Army green gum rubber outsole. These were an extremely limited release (82 pairs total) and fetch a bundle on the resale market.

Sneaker News needs to get up on their info! I personally have 2 pairs of these foams as Big Infinite was right, a lot of people weren't up on these when they dropped. In fact they dropped twice. The first time was 82 pairs in Aug of 2008, then they dropped again in Nov of 2008 to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of HOH 125th street. That's when I purchased my pairs. About 160 pairs in total were released. Sneaker News please do better research next time, Thanks!
I still have mine... really only use them to hoop in. Not too many dudes were feelin them so i grabbed 2 pair.. 1 pair got stolen out my dam car lol... oh well, still have these on ice tho. I called them da mean greens tho
