Nike And Tom Sachs Present NIKECraft

Think you’re doin’ it when you’re on a G6 Jet? How about if you’re cruising in space? We recently showed you a preview video of the Nike Craft Space Camp, a project that was years in the making from next-level sculptor and artist Tom Sachs, who has a quirky obsessions with space travel and the ‘vintage’ Apollo program of the 60′s and 70′s. Working with Nike, he developed a space-ready capsule of artisanal gear dubbed NIKECraft, which features the Nike Mars Yard Shoe, the Trench, the MarsFly Jacket, and the Lightweight Tote – all built with applied materials taken from automotive air bags, mainsails for boats, and actual space suits, and other items never used before in Sportswear. Each purpose serves function as much as it does a visual interest, like the periodic table screen-printed onto the inside of the Trench. A detailed viewing of the Nike x Tom Sachs NIKECraft capsule is just below, so take a good look and let us know – should Nike outfit astronauts?

When do they drop???
tom sachs is one of today's all time great artists. his recent nasa stuff has been awesome. these shoes are just another great tom sachs piece
Really dig the concept, but shoes are ugly, IMO.

im really feeling the shoes there something different and i like em, will most def cop
This stuff looks basura but im really digging the concept/ function over form and if nike did outfit astronauts they would be the flyest mofos in space. Ps: home girl in the wind breaker isnt a dime but she sure could get it.
