Air Jordan IV ‘Cavs’ – Release Reminder

Exactly twenty three years ago this past Monday, Michael Jordan hit ‘The Shot’ over Craig Ehlo, amounting to a series win for the Bulls and one of the most iconic images in sports history. If you remember, Jordan hit that shot while wearing the Air Jordan IV, so to commemorate the 23rd Anniversary of the moment, Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan IV in a special ‘Cavs’ colorway, although Cleveland fans and Ehlo supporters might not be too happy with the gesture! Despite the ‘Cavs’ connection, the Blue/Orange can fit any other theme particularly if you’re in the NY era (Knicks/Mets). These will hit select Jordan Brand retailers as Nikestore has confirmed that these will not be available on their online store, so make sure you lock yours down when your local spot drops them tomorrow morning or by snagging one now from davydoo3 on eBay.

Copped......These definitely were a QS release.....No stores in the local malls in NJ got these......only urban accounts........also, hoh would normally get like 500 pairs per store if this were a GR, but hoh was only getting about 80 pairs per store of these. And yes, QS releases have come in kids sizes before; it happened for the re-release of the AJ altitude 13........know your facts
I find it gut busting hilarious how all the "OG Sneakerheads" are hating on this shoe because its not a OG CW. And these are the same guys complaining that Jordan retro's the same shoes to much. smh....Whatever happened to "Copp what you like"?
i think we are going down a scary road when non OG colors sell out right away just cause the are "exclusive" and i read in one of the comments these were QS... since when do QS come in kid sizes...

All I ever hear on this site is how bad JB quality has gotten over and over and over again! I think the quality of these is awesome and I haven't seen one post on how good the quality is! Most just want to bitch, I would like to give some props to JB for the quality of these! Now let's just keep it up!!!!
No way these are reselling at $500. I was on ebay watching a few auctions in case I couldn't get a pair and at best they are going for like $300 in the real world for sizes 9.5 and 10. They cost $160 retail + tax which is like 9.5% in Chi-Town. So you could be paying $176 sell it for $300 and by the time ebay/paypal get their cut you might be lucky to make a $100 bucks. That's assuming you pay retail for em.

i was 1st in east birmingham alabama to get these...... not an easy pass. regardless of color they are still QS. meaning REAL collectors would have these over those low 11s
i was the frist in line the store had 20 pairs and there was only 10 people in line........
Just copped. They're pretty nice. Went to work straight after coppin' though so I haven't even tried them on yet.
The ONLY reason I'm buying these is cuz the resell value is about $400 already. Whether I keep em or sell em it's a new color way on the 4's so I don't think it's a bad investement.
