Part III of the Nike LeBron 9 Elite saga continues tomorrow morning as the ‘Varsity Maize’ joints (also dubbed the ‘Bumblebee’ and the ‘Taxi’) will select Nike Basketball retailers tomorrow. LeBron’s yet to wear ‘em out to a game and given the NBA’s strict policy on uniforms, it’s like that LeBron won’t break these out anytime soon. These have, however, been gaining some buzz as they’ve been spotted on the feet of some celebrities (the most memorable sighting being on a recent taping of BET, when host Terrence J wore the Maize 9s next to Kanye’s Yeezy 2). Regarding the release: these will NOT release on Nikestore online, so check with your local Nike Basketball retailer or cop ‘em now from yellownsxt on eBay.

Cool to look at. But Lebrons suck on feet. Fuck these shoes.
They look real good in person, and if the price is cool for you cop em. They may cost alot but if you just buy em for rockin then it pays off. Think about it, they durable and easy to keep fresh. How often can you wear some of the other $160+ sneakers without having to be afraid to walk?

does any one know how the elites fit?
You can go to footlocker, footaction, finishline or any other of the big shoe stores. The ones around here didn't sell a single pair!!! I bought mine tried them on and everything!!! I went in at 9am! Was almost like the old days!!!!!!!
According to Footlocker, they run true to size.
I got half a size bigger and it fit perfectly.

I think so... but we all evaluate comfort different but they are a totally different feel then da standard 9s
no they cost a lot more :)
To me they are, my away elites are more comfortable than my other 9's.
