Swizz Beatz Hints At Reebok Shaq Return

It seems like Nike/Jordan is dominating the game with its sick onslaught of releases (2012 All-Star, Air Yeezy 2, OG Air Jordans, shall we go on), but it really is an open field of opportunity for other brands right now. Reebok is definitely taking the initiative to make their way back into the limelight, although yesterday’s news of the a retooled Shaqnosis named the Reebok Shaqnosis 2012 coerced lurkers to chime in with their thoughts – and it certainly wasn’t smiles all around. However, this latest update with reverse those frowns as Swizz Beatz, Reebok’s frontman for lifestyle footwear, hints at a return of the original Reebok Shaqnosis as well as the Reebok Shaq Attaq – proving that the brand is ready to bring out its most memorable classics from the 90′s in original form, while still giving them a contemporary spin on the side, althoughit has been confirmed that the Shaqnosis 2012 revamp sample will not release. Swizz states nothing but the real thing, and "let's not play games with SHAQ" well then release the OG pairs dude if u want to "keep it a real thing"
If they retro Shaqnosis, I will copp it would be my first reeboks in nearly a decade. Reebok prices were always decent
I wonder if they will rename it due to copyright type stuff. Fila released the Hill 2s n renamed them the fila 95. I asked cuz when shaq started selling his shoes at Walmart,Payless, Kmart, ect the shoes still had the "dunkman" symbol so I assumed they he owned the rights to that symbol-not reebok. I don't know bout the actual name "SHAQ". It would be cool if they resign him kinda like what Nike is doing with the penny line. Reebok could make a big impact-just retro all the Kemps, Question&Answers, Shaqs,Emmitt Smiths, & Big Hurts. Also the Dee brown dunk contest pumps again-JB retros some of the same shoes over and over and they always sell n I think reebok has some "classics" that would sell the same.

I really hope Reebok goes through with the retros. Too bad no stores near me get anything other than Nike or Air Jordan.
i am toooooooooooo hyped for these to release. been hoping reebok get on it and retroed these and seems my wish is coming true...instant cop!!
Yeah this is great news all around because Reebok had some classic kicks in the 90's. If they release all those classic shoes in OG form that would have to make Nike step up n stop putting out these half breed mutations that they mix with some of the OG shoes.
I cannot understand why it has taken Reebok so long to get on this money boat. It couldn't have taken that much money to get Shaq back while he was playing. This is basically free money: no new design costs, no new templates to make, will sell w/o much marketing, etc. Just sell it and we will buy. I'm really hoping they keep the quality level high and it takes a bite out of Nike to make Nike rethink they're substandard releases.

I reaaaally want the original Shaq Attaq and the white/purple Shaq Steel. I've been a huge Shaq fan growing up, but the only shoes I was able to own were the black Shaq Attaq IV and the white Shaq Dunkmob.

do NOT let swizz beats anywhere NEAR the shaq attaq. bring it back, BUT ONLY in original form. and definitely in the black/blue colorway!
