Yohji Yamamoto’s Nomad Star midtop made a polarizing splash when we recently previewed its unique shroud, but what kind of response can we predict from this more traditional lowtop version? Right off the bat, the shelltoed lowcut look should be more familiar on this new adidas Y-3 Nomad Star Low, though it’s far more likely to be connected to the iconic Superstar than any of the forgettable Pro Model performance lowtops that released over the past few years. And while these won’t break necks in quite the same way as the bagged-up midtop, smartly placed lines ensure these subdued colorways will indeed turn heads. Check them out after the jump below, let us know which of the Y-3 Nomad Stars looks better to you and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability. via Sneaker Freaker
