Ghost in the Shell x Reebok Insta Pump Fury “Tachikoma”
June 6th, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 5 comments

Last month, it looked like Asics had raced to the front of the sneaker collaboration pack thanks to several upcoming projects including Bait’s ‘Five Rings’ capsule. In June, ‘Reebok Back’ in a big way, and their distinctive 1994 running flagship (and its HLS offspring) is the most prominent of bunch, having just showed up in ‘Spider-Man’, ‘Wolverine’ and Verbal/Ambush collabo colorways. And here’s another animated fantasy world come to life on the Reebok Insta Pump Fury, this Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex edition celebrating the early ’00s anime and its Tachikoma walker (seeing the shoe next to its toy muse reminds you of Jun Watanabe’s second ‘Mr. Bottle Head’ Insta Pumps, no?). These will be limited to 500 pairs with a release date TBA, so click through for more images and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via FS

One of the best Anime series of all time.
I like how it actually has the Stand Along Complex logo on the heel. And that insole is crazy!
