Sneaker News already hit you with the most thorough list of Air Yeezy 2 release spots, but it just got a bit longer now that select Foot Locker House of Hoops locations will release the Air Yeezy 2 as well. No campouts, no release day mayhem (we still remember what happened during All-Star Weekend), but instead a simple online entry form (live now) with the lucky recipients being notified on Friday, June 8th. Winners will be able to purchase the shoes in-store ONLY on Saturday. We’ll list the four House of Hoops locations, but head to Foot Locker Unlocked for complete entry rules.

Agree with unclesam. Only people gettin these are the ones willing to pay way over retail or have connections with what ever store is selling them, or those tired ass celebrities that Nike ships all the limited releases directly to their house.

Man, Nike should just do a proper, general release for these. Lower the price to $200 (cause they sure as fuck aren't costing Nike 250~ to manufacture and deliver, more like 100, tops), make 100k of these, and pump them out on the streets. They´ll sell like crazy, Kanye will make millions, Nike will make millions and everyone except for the Hypebeasts will be happy (cause, you know, it's not cool to have the same shoes as 100000 other people!). I know a lot of people are saying these are ugly, but IMO, these are dope as fuck and everyone should have a shot at getting them instead of just people with no life that camp out for weeks on end, or people that have lots of money/connections.
They're trying to weed out camp outs and up the hype at the same time! If they make it random, they reduce sneaker-violence (at least riot violence) and the shoes will be in higher demand because of it. If they lowered the price, then every Joe Schmoe would look like Kanye West, and Kanye doesn't want that. If he did, he wouldn't rap about and wear expensive tasteful things to assert that he makes more money in a year than most do in a career. Hype means people will perpetually want a piece of the brand, because the low availability means that the individual is somehow more special (and has a little bit more power) than the person without said object. Only place getting these seems to be NY and LA for the most part. Guess Nike doesn't care about the rest of the states. Only one spot in the entire state of Texas? For real? Out of all the big cities in Texas you only release them in Austin? Shit is stupid.
It wasn't random that they got released in Austin. Nice Kicks is there and they have an impressive track record when it comes to these releases. But I feel your pain homie. Only one place in the DMV is getting them and it sure ain't the HoH in PG Plaza because they screwed the pooch on that galaxy release.
Be happy 1 place is getting them you could live in Wisconsin like me and have no chance as usual

Wow. Neither one in Chicago is getting them. That's crazy. People been lined up at both locations since the south beach 9s came out last weekend. I should go by and break the bad news lol....naw I'll let the hypes continue to camp. Wanted these but only auctions here in Chicago and I'm not paying 10× retail. And this is kanye city/hometown. Regardless of this rather strict policy, I absolutely guarantee there will be a hoard of fools camping outside of the House of Hoops locations trying to get their grubby asses inside. I suppose this helps, though... Good luck to everybody who participates!
