More often than not, the individual tastes of the sneakerhead tend to mature with age. Those who are pushing age 30 and beyond might not be open to bulky Trainers, high-tops, and Air Jordans anymore, but that’s where Nike Sportswear comes in; this specialized division targets the ‘grown’ sneakerhead, putting forth some amazing releases like the Nike Mayfly Woven that appeals to the ‘dress shoe’ appeal with the ‘sneaker’ desire. Using the classic Mayfly infrastructure, Nike Sportswear reinvents the upper with luscious suede with supreme ‘Woven’ effects on the medial and lateral sidewalls. Truly a classic in the making (particularly for the Footscape/Woven circles), the Nike Mayfly Woven TZ is a big reason why sneakerheads never grow “out” of the game. These have been popping up slowly in retailers overseas (hitting CaliRoots in just a few days) and should make its way over at select Nike Sportswear accounts in the U.S. soon, so check out these detailed images below and let us know what you think.
