these sneakers are beyond trash. they look like payless kicks...not even payless wouldnt even sell these.

Did you really need to be reminded? Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer and Montalban have completed their Twitter RSVPs, Foot Locker House of Hoops accepted online entries for their own raffle, and sneaker shops worldwide are conducting their own Air Yeezy 2 releases by way of raffles and so forth. It’s clear that after February’s chaotic release-night events for the Galaxy Foams, Nike’s newly implemented release date procedures have worked out quite well as the peace has been kept. Of course, leaving all your hopes on pure chance might not sit well with those who have earned their coveted kicks through hardcore camping, but getting the Air Yeezy 2 is like winning the sneaker lottery anyway.
It’s been a long three-year wait for the sequel to the original Air Yeezy 2 surface, and considering all the media hype that came attached to the sneaker, will the Air Yeezy 2 have what it takes to be Sneaker News’ best sneaker of the year? Remember, the original Air Yeezy lost out to the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ for the number 1 spot, but it all depends on what goes down for the rest of the year. With that said, we can now pass the Air Yeezy 2 chapter in the book of kicks for now, but should new colorways pop up (like that Kobe collaboration), we’ll keep you updated. There may still be some Air Yeezy 2s up for grabs and we still have Nikestore’s release to look forward to, so be sure to get familiar with the release procedure of your local store (listed against below), so let us know if you’ve secured your pair for tomorrow’s release!

Nike Air Yeezy II: For NIKE to produce more yeezy 2's to end the over priced reseller prices https://www.change.org/petitions/nike-air-yeezy-i... via @change
waiting for the chinese copies to drop....since nike and the mofos that are supplied are only reselling through auctions! god bless china!
i have nothing left in my tank that makes me wana keep buying and supporting the sneaker scene. All these crooked ass retailers selling half the stock to employees and freinds, resellers, twitter bs, paying 250 for this shit quality cuz lets be honest everyone saw that glue all over the midsoles in the yeezy2 reviews. i have nothing left nike. i honestly really liked the black yeezy2 wether or not it had yeezy on it i liked the shoe. toobad only ppl who got pairs were employees, moms girlfreinds, resellers, and little 10 year old hypebeasts.
Twitter fucked it up. People get their info much more quicker now, and it spreads virally. Expect it to get even worse in the future.
F@CK this release! Had both of them in my cart and the site crashed. After it came up, my session "TIMES OUT"??? Not to mention, both shoes were removed from my cart. All that money Nike has, buy some better servers, they can afford it!
attempting to get the yeezy's has really turned me off to sneakers. i've entered raffles & went on nike store's bumass website that always crashes seconds after a big release. all to no avail. ive been in the game for a while. my brother got me the jordan steel 10's when i was 5 years old and ive been hooked ever since. back in the day it took dedication. doing your research, waking up at the ass crack of dawn and every once in a while, camping out. nowadays things have become ridiculous. i feel like i only have 2 options when it comes to copping serious heat; either camp out weeks before the release date of pay thousands for a pair of shoes that cost 5 bucks to make. like dude above me said, its almost enough to make u wanna just fall back from the sneaker game and let the resellers and bandwagan sneakerheads have their way. it's been one helleva ride but the sneaker game has become over saturated and corny. time to call it quits
the sneaker game is all fucked up. i really wanted these joints and it's damn near impossible to get them. and to make it worse most of the people going crazy over the yeezy 2's weren't even into sneakers when the yeezy 1's came out. the sneaker game has gotten fucked up in such a short amount of time. im thinking about just bowing out with my current collection and just letting the resellers and bandwagan sneakerheads have it...fuck this shit
Hour 14: After braving the elements to obtain a pair in person, it grew rapidly apparent that success was already out of reach. The locals were restless and tempers running high. We retreated to the homestead to set up camp to wait out twitter. By now the mountain dew has run dry and we are down to the last of our pop chips rations. I fear our optimism is wearing thin. Never in all my days have I seen such a thing. We lived through the galaxy foam release, but this waiting game has lowered our morale and the men speak of surrender. The twitter feed has gone quite and we're unsure if nike hears our pleas for satisfaction. Stay strong my brothers, for to the victors go the spoils.
nike rep says they can only release between 8 am and 12 am EST because that's their call center hours, so it could be tomorrow even...campout in front of the computer...effing awesome...
Store list was off the Bay Had a few extra stores get em. I have a little over $80k saved I guess it time open my own store. Maybe I'll get exclusive and lie and BS to everyone.
Thanks to Sneakernews, I found out about the HOH on-line raffle. I signed up and WON!!! So, as a Student-Sneakerhead I' am grateful and will be picking up my pair at the HOH inside the Beverly Center. Once I have my pair in hand, I will tweet and post on FB my email confirmation and picks of the GRAND PRIZE!! Again, Thanks Sneakernews!! - Nick "Role Model" Lotorto @nicklotorto @iamrolemodel
i hope i get both - imma do a sole swap on em or maybe jut rock the blk/solars and a gas mask for them platinum joints. Is it me or do deez jye look like some peter pan booties
why put so much effort into getting a shoe when the creator obviously doesnt want you to have it. Thousand dollars plus, nike is not a luxury brand. Anyone who buys this has more money then intelligence. Successful people (not rappers) laugh at people wearing sneakers, at that price buy something way better. A hand made shoe, not one made for twetny bucks a by a vietnamese or china child for three hundred percent mark up.
hmm line up for some of the ugliest shoes to be made no thanks. time is money and most of these people lining up are basically resellers. you guys f'ed up the shoes game for everyone
NO @Sneaker News, thank YOU for being the best website in providing reliable information for sneakerheads all over....we appreciate your business.
ahh thanks for this release reminder. i had no idea. theres barely been any info on these........smh haha.
we really don't need a reminder...lol. most of our lives are on pause to get our hands on a pair..lol.
Im from Baltimore n I really can care less about these shoes I just wondering why he not showing his hometown of Chicago no love that's just so f up these n***as get a lil fame n forget where they come from
Wow, people literally livin out there for the yeezys. Takes away any hope from students or the working class. My only hope is the raffle, but othere than that I am done.
There are over 9000 Air Yeezy II stories that has been posted on Sneakernews, some were posted before they were even announced! We know damn well they're coming
Fcuk you cuz., rub it in our face why don't ya, Hope somebody robs your boasting @ss on the way out the store.
Word. Never know though, the hype for these is crazy. I would get them if they weren't so hard to get. I'm sticking to the Bred 4's as sneaker of the year for me though.
Got da Blk & pink yeezy 2s... they jus OK to b honest. They are not worth da hype at all... but I will say, they are veeeeeery comfortable & made of superb quality... and at least wit da Blk pair u can wear them better wit outfits... da wolf platinum pair really brings da uglyiness out in da shoe lol. But da sum reason, people want them a lot more then da Blk 1s. Either, if u can't cop, don't worry about it. If u can, rock'em. Great shoe fa da collection.
I'm from Philly but Ill be in Baltimore all weekend sucks no love for Baltimore & only one spot in Philly wft Nike
