Vans is best known for their vulcanized waffle sole skate shoes, but they have on occasion offered cupsoled designs reminiscent of the basketball-turned-skateboarding sneakers that dominated at different points in history. Here’s another foray into that field, the Vans OTW Cypress lowtop that’s slated to arrive at Vans OTW retailers for the fall season. This design reminds us of the iconic Dunk Low, but little changes like the lack of a rear quarter panel and shape changes on the eyestay and toebox might have you trying to place these like a forgotten acquaintence’s name. Repeatedly thinking of the OTW Cypress won’t lead to frustration, though, as you’ll be able to find them shortly at select Off the Wall retailers. via FNG
