Custom creator Mache has caught the eye of NFL cornerback Marcus Gilchrist with his fancy one off sneakers, with Marcus being a frequent customer as of late. The latest on-demand pair is this Air Jordan XIII, meant to reflect Gilchrist’s journey from South Carolina to San Diego. His NCAA days are represented on the left sneaker via the logo of his alma mater the Clemson Tigers, with the opposite standing in for the latest phase in his career via the Chargers bolt emblem in the same position. Even more detail oozes through on the toebox, each one hand painted in a riff off the scattered Air Jordan icon style with various miniature graphics telling the athlete’s story. BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THESE SHITS ARE COLD!!!!!!!!!! yall shouldnt hate they arre CUSTOMS as in CUSTOM as in not for you to like. Just like any work of art it takes an artist to appreciate and a spectator to hate
Think they are amazing. The level of detail on the toe box is crazy, they look like they were screened on but they were hand painted. The little differences like the color of the logos on the tongue and the alternate logos are all great. He did a really good job, while they might be your style, you gotta respect the quality of work by Mache.
The toe box is amazing and very well thought out. Not hating but am I the only 1 thinking...... R.I.P those playoffs XIIs
Not a huge fan of the concept, but it's clearly high quality work. He did a good job on them, even if they're not really something I'd wear.
The NFL player asked for them to look like this I think. Lots of detail and talent. Respect unless you could do better!!
You may not like them, but the detail is insane. I wonder how you would feel if someone called something you did ugly.
