Advantage: Oklahoma City Thunder. Game 1 kicked off in the Chesapeake Arena last night as the OKC Thunder hosted the Eastern Conference representatives for the opening festivities of the 2012 NBA Finals. Sneaker News gave you a quick preview of the LeBron vs. Durant match-up, and clearly, the outcome of the first battle went in Durant’s favor. Durant, who was wearing the Nike Zoom KD IV NBA Finals PE, lit up the fourth quarter and would not let Miami catch up, sealing the deal with teammate Russell Westbrook hitting some key shots.  The entire Thunder squad donned white-based gear, with Center Kendrick Perkins opting for the Air Jordan IV ‘Military’ and Thabo Sefalosha wearing the ‘Home’ Kobe VII Elite.

LeBron James started the game off strong, catching our attention with his own NBA Finals PE of the LeBron 9 Elite, and running-mate Dwyane Wade sported his own PE of the Jordan Fly Wade 2 EV, which featured hints of gold on a red base. The entire Heat squad chose to wear predominately red, with Chris Bosh wearing a sick PE of the Air Max Hyperdunk Elite, Mario Chalmers proudly rocking his own Spalding PE, and perimeter threat Shane Battier wearing his Peak special editions. We’ve got a nice gallery of last night’s NBA Finals Game 1 showdown, so check out the best sneakers of the night and be sure to check back with Sneaker News with more PE goodness and, of course, Thursday night’s Game 2. Photos: yahoo

OKC is gonna win I think... Durant playing like da true MVP, fugly ass west brook lol hoopin good, even tho he be bullshiiiittttin sum times. James harden & selafalosha off da bench. Ibaka & perk on defense. Dfish leadership & familiarity with finals pressure... jus too much fa lebron, wade & bosh dis yr... plus da western team dat has repped da finals fa da last what, 13 yrs have been da spurs, Lakers or mavs. Okc destroyed all of them to get to da finals.. So its da thunder time to shine

Perkins with the 4s with gold laces, it's actually kind of a nice touch i think one year, i could be wrong but OKC wore some black jerseys, i bet those Cavs 4s would kill with those

Lebron deserves 0 at best he deserves to be in the finals every year and lose the same way so later down the line he could go crazy and end his career the way karl malone did
