Will the Nike Air Yeezy 2 launch this past weekend wind up as the single biggest sneaker story of 2012? We’ll look back from the precipice of ’13 remembering how the second Kanye West x Nike Sportswear release melted a corner of the internet, and barring a surprise on the order of the Nike Mag or something extra special from Jordan Brand, Mr. West’s best yet is a safe bet to top all the year-end best-of lists. A huge part of the Air Yeezy 2’s sweeping success is its exclusivity and how tough it is to get a pair, but could we ever see a bizarro world where Yeezys are so limited Ye himself can’t even get a pair? That’s the premise for Ree’s latest Sn’eads cartoon, one that includes the latest Kanye in Air Jordan VIs sighting. Have a look at the video in full after the jump, let us know if you been had Yeezy 2s and let us know if you’ve had any luck grabbing a pair in the aftermath of Saturday’s launch.

The funny sh*t is that Nike said this release was EXCLUSIVE!!! only a FEW stores were gonna have the yeezys!! TOTAL B.S.!!!!!!!! so many stores had em in nyc.. and funny a lot of mom & pop stores had em as well....supposedly footlocker were not gonna have em, but you see dudes selling the yeezys with a footlocker receipt?!?!?!....and I see dudes on craigslist posting they have 4, 5, 6 pairs of yeezys for sale, or they can get any size you want for $2000!!! How the f**k you managed to get mad pairs if this release according to Nike was exclusive?!?!?! YOU SEE HOW F**KED UP THE SNEAKER GAME IS NOWADAYS!!!!!! A lot of RESELLERS out there f**k it up for everyone who actually would like to buy the shoe for collection and wearing purposes.. all these resellers have connections either with a footlocker manager or an official nike employee. The reseller will pay em $2000 for a box of yeezys that contain 10 or more pairs... than the f**kin reseller will make triple their money back! A**HOLES!!!!
You'd have to pay me to take Yeezys off your hands. Then right after that they'd be going in the garbage. Never in my life have I seen a sneaker so ugly before. But Nike pulled it off. Keep pandering to the faux hip hop crowd, Nike. It's a stellar business strategy. Not. It looks like an aborted Tyrannosaurus baby with a rubber sole on it. If you like this shoe, fuck you. If you have 2000 dollars to waste on this shoe, and you are considering it seriously, fuck you. This is sneakerheadery at its worst, and at best you're paying through the nose for some ugly ass conversation piece that you're never gonna wear in the first place. You'd make better use of that money if you bought a used Toyota. To all the Yeezy fans out there I have one message: Go fuck yourselves.
If you didnt get on nike.com in the first 5 seconds you pretty much didnt have a chance. As usual the site crashed screwing everyone else out of the shoes. What a joke NIKE!!!
yo i got a pair of the black/solar red sz 10.5 holla at me..... no lowballers!!! ..... firstname.lastname@example.org
Definitely a doper shoe,,,,,, BUT...id trade em just to get the yeezy 2s with ease, cuz I would like to have em. Then id simply cop my v reds again off ebay lol
Yurr my dude, i stalked nike on twitter for two f**kin days!! As soon as nike sent the release tweet out i jumped on it. I actually managed to add the black yeezys to my cart.. clicked checkout..... womp womp sh*t crashed!!!! Errrrrrrbody and they momma was complaining on twitter saying the same sh*t happened to them.... Nike is a MULTI BILLION dollar company, and its funny how garbage their website is. It doesn't matter if there were 300,000 people trying to buy the shoe at the same time! Nike.com should be able to handle such traffic. So if you were one of the first to add the yeezys to your cart, then you were f**ked... cause when everyone tried at the same time thats when the server crashed... than the people who tried adding em after the site crashed unfortunately those were the lucky f**ks who managed to get a pair. So now for future releases: let the server crash first, then try to add the sneakers to your cart.
