Are we looking at the next signature for a first-time NBA Champion? Kevin Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder lead their NBA Finals series against the Miami Heat, and their colors are prominently on display on the above pictured Nike Zoom KD V. This model some have compared to the sleek Hyperfuse series or even the Hyperdunk thanks to the high ankle and prominent heel counter will be Durant’s first experiment with Max Air. The Zoom KD 5 keeps with the KD series’ odd-year/no-strap pattern, while another unique traction pattern makes three in a row since the III last utilized a traditional herringbone. It's too early to be hateful towards this model which looks a lot better than the 4 in terms of the technology. Have none of you hypebeasts worn the 4? It's down right painful to the toes and has no cushioning. The only colors of the 4 that sold were limited, the GR's sat, proof it's all about the hype for this model. ALL of you who hate now, will be in line for a week when they drop a Nerf or even an all pink KD 5. Loving the visible air unit and wider stance.

Looks like hyperdunks, hyperfuse, and all them other hypershoes and how do you go from the first four being pretty much low top to this ugly ass hyperKD shoe?! They shouldnt do KD like this these shoes have no character, no individuality like his previous ones or like the other star players (Lebron, Kobe). Nike definitly boo boo'd on KD with these "hyperKD's"! SMH

Oh wow, yup just another hyperdunk! Damn KD and Nike are gonna be mad when they see the comparison of sales between the 4s and these (5s)... haha. Each day Nike is getting less and less creative!!!!!
I really like these from a basketball standpoint. the KD IV looked great but it wasn't a terribly great basketball shoe. these look like a more comfortable hyperdunk, with the air max in the heel (and I'm assuming a zoom air bag in the forefoot) these look like they're going to be REALLY well cushioned and responsive (it would be the same support setup as the melo m8's). the silhouette looks a little more beefed up and comfy, which I really look forward too because hyperdunks have been too skinny for my tastes in terms of playing basketball. i really look forward to hooping in these, and hope they stay under the $100 mark.

I guess we should all stop watching the finals cause apparently OKC has already won; after only winning 1 game in a "7 Game" series.....Remember you all were saying the same about the Spurs just a week ago..(not a heat fan or okc fan just a sports fan)

big fail, nike tryin to make then higher on the ankle like the lebrons and they added and air bubble just to jack up the price because god for bid they keep a pair under $100 that people really like, its the end of a great run for the KD sneaker era, at least price wise...people love the guy and when they see his sneaker at a reasonable price they like him even more, it was just a matter of time before nike got greedy, its a shame
They look like some basic Hyperdunks but watch WALE is gonna be the first person in them in August with the laces undone like always and everybody's gonna jump on the band wagon and rock them just bc he had them on.

Look like a worthy shoe for a defending Finals MVP....the KDV has alot to live up to , from the Nerfs-Weatherman-/BHM/All Star/galazy/UT's /N7's? the KDIV may have had the greatest run of specialty Colorway/special editions of any signature shoe EVER
