German sneaker supplier Solebox is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Exactly one month ago today, the Berlin-based boutique published a retrospective on its many collaborative designs, and though only one of those designs (in two versions) came in conjunction with the Onitsuka Tiger, that glow in the dark Gel Lyte III was one of the late ’00s drops that helped set the stage for Ronnie Fieg’s seemingly overnight success. Unfortunately for fans of that pair, it appears the upcoming Solebox x Asics six-pack may never see the light of day, with rumors swirling that two pairs each of Solebox x Asics Gel Lyte IIIs, Gel Sagas and GT-IIs may become one of the largest and most impressive sets of shelved sneakers in recent memory. Click through to get a look at what could have been (and might still have a chance to be?), let us know if you would have copped and stick with Sneaker News for updates.
