Jordan Brand Spring 2013 Preview
June 18th, 2012 by Sneaker News | 15 comments

We used the expression ‘SP13′ in the Nike Sportswear spring 2013 preview you just saw, and now next spring’s theme shifts to ‘Supernatural Performance’ as we begin a look at Beaverton’s modern marvels of basketball tech. Jordan Brand leads the way with a teaser of the Air Jordan 2013, including a Jumpman-emblazoned carbon fiber plate that judging by its size, position and curvature is quite possibly a heel counter a la Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Elite. Three bullet points describe features but only ‘Proplate Zoom’ is offered in English; might it be joined by the LunarLon we’ve come to expect from the Jordan Super Fly Low? Or perhaps the forefoot Zoom cushioning in the Jordan F2F III or Jordan Ace 23? Meanwhile on the Max Air side of things, the Jordan Melo M9 shows off a few of its possibilities and the early-90s throwback Jordan Blueprint shows up in a new style vaguely similar to the ‘Motorsports’ AJ6. Check out all of these after the jump in a bunch of additional images, let us know your thoughts on the first Air Jordan 2013 photos and all the rest of JB’s lineup for next year and stick with Sneaker News for breaking developments and release dates. I think the blueprints look pretty good, the super flys are decent as well. Nothing I really want to get but I think you guys are overstating how bad things are here.
So many ugly Jordans, I don't know which ones not to buy. SMDH
Ugly ugly ugly ugly.
Are those Air Jordan 6.0s in the last pic?
Air jordan 6.0 and 11.0?
Those M9 are nice IMO
yeah definitely a interesting design
those m9's looking interesting but not something that i wud wear
I guess JB doesn't notice their regular shoes sit on the shelves while the classic retros sell out in minutes. The design team should just consist of Tinker Hatfield because these new cats ain't gettin it done
tinker is still on the JB design team...
If you understood how the shoegame worked instead of being a hypebeast that stares at sneakerblogs all day, then you would know JB makes a killing off of these "regular shoes that sit on shelves". In order for a store to carry those "Classing retros that sell out in minutes" they HAVE to buy these lame sneakers nobody buys. Nike knows exactly what they're doing, Kid.
JB might as well just give up, wtf are these?
Bunch of ugly ducklings.
ya except these wont blossom into swans..
hey! thats offensive to ducks
