Air Jordan IX “Olive” – Release Date

Yesterday evening, Sneaker News filled you in on the release date of the Air Jordan IX ‘Cool Grey’, confirmed for the weekend just before the drop of the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’. Looks like another confirmed Air Jordan IX, the OG ‘Olive’ colorway, will precede another big-ticket ‘Bred’ item as the Olive IXs are slated for a November 17th release. If anyone can recall, the Air Jordan IX ‘Olive’ wasn’t a major hit in its last sighting in 2002, but will it see a much more favorable fortune this time around? These are kind of a Winter colorway but i've been looking forward to these for months. Can't Wait!

i remember back in '02 @ a shop here in Chi couldn't even give these away. they took to the dye and dyed em all black and they sold em @ 200 a pop. how the times have changed.

These joints dropped back when I was a junior in highschool and I wasn't feeling them. Now 10 yrs later....honest truth still not feeling them only 9s on my radar are the cool greys, those new "french blues" and maybe the new photo blues
I plan on picking these up if they get rid of the shiny sole. Knock em if you want but i'm passing on the cool grey's for these.

Ahhhh the memories!!! I loved these shoes when I had them as a youngster. The only bad thing is my feet kept growing! So even if I had taken care of my OG's they'd still be to small!! But I never did so it doesn't matter! lol.

nothing hypebeast about what he said. he didn't say whether or not he copped them. he said they sat on the shelves. i got mine for $50 2 months after release just to ball outside in. they may be the worst colorway of the ix, but they were also the cheapest priced shoe in the store i was willing to ball outside in.
