Its better television to have LBJ not win a ring again. More people tuned in this year than they had in a long time, more viewers is more money for Stern. If he wanted to set anything up, he'd have let the Heat lose so next year it would be the same thing "Will Lebron do it this year?"Ratings would go up from people watching just hoping it didn't happen for a third year in a row.
Nah, it's better TV to have LeBron win so they can talk about it on ESPN until next basketball season. They want him to be the next Jordan and to get people to except him. They will give him somewhere between 4-6 rings and hope he can be just as big and carry the league like Jordan did. The NBA has been fixed for years.
