The Nike Barkley heritage line continues in 2013 with the return of the Nike Air Max 2 Strong; originally released in 1995 and named the Air 2 Strong Hi, this Barkley classic shares the same aggressive midsole design as the Air Max2 CB’ 94 that preceded it, but with a high-top Anti-Inversion ankle support system that provided lockdown and secure fit. This particular model was popular amongst big-men of that era, but a Mid version was also created – and Retro’ed – in the 2000′s. Three colorways in the OG Black/White, a classics Phoenix Suns, and a new White/Teal/Violet colorway are set for a release this Spring 2013 season, so check out all three below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more Nike Retro updates!

@madskillz wrong. Check again!! Wow the shoe game is sad. And you're still wrong sneakernews, Barkley never ever wore these. I promise
@Idiots,I think David Robinson wore the air unlimited and not these.Hope they retro those also.
Please show me a pic of Barkley wearing these. Theyre David Robinsons. Being a sneaker NEWS site, I thought you might know that. Do research. In other news, I'll get the black ones.
These didnt do so well last retro and prob will sit this time as well. I'll take the black/white CW on discount tho

a mean shoe but too much going on, recognized the Barkley sole, something Nike is doing with alot of their new shoes today, sole switching, mixing and matching. Finger print on the bottom is real cool tho.
