Nike Dunk High “J-Pack”
June 28th, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 10 comments

The phrase ‘J-Pack’ has been tossed around a bit more liberally in recent years, but even with wacky colors the meaning remains the same: we’re talking about the OG Air Jordan 1 blocking pattern. The AJ1s share their sole with 1985′s other smash hit Swooshed basketballer, and while they’ve crossed paths over in the SB division, this is the first time Nike Sportswear will take a crack at combining ’85′s most influential hightops. The Nike Dunk High will release later this year in red/black and royal/black styles borrowed from the Air Jordan 1, though the addition of a snake-textured suede Swoosh sets these apart from all previous ‘J-Pack’ efforts. Have a closer look after the jump, let us know how these compare to the SBs and OG AJ1s as well as the other FW12 Dunks we’ve previewed here on Sneaker News and check back with us for release info. via Dunkbar

This is perfect!! Rock the Dunks. Stash the J's. #ingenious
Nice, Gonna cop, put in SB insoles. & skate the heck out of these.
If they could some how put that nike tongue on the 2013 retros there would be no need for these.
why do this when the AJ1 is coming back out in these colors ..
To offset the releases young BROTHA! Take that Tinker & Michael
I can already see some tongue tag swaps occurring in the future. Aside from the missing "air" on the tag.
Would rather get these then pay over 300 for stupid Bannned Jordans.
Maybe!
dope! but... I have the real Jordans in these colors. If not I'd cop in a heart beat.
i was thinking that same thing... still... rain beaters maybe?
