We’ve seen a bit of what New Balance has in store for early 2013 thanks to the summertime tradeshow circuit in Europe, and this latest viewing might represent most of the entire first quarter lineup. With nearly a hundred styles on display, it’s easy to see that NB’s SP13 is shaping up to be something special. In addition to the New Balance 574s we’ve seen already for Q1 come several other styles that bring the total for that model well into the double-digits, while on the other end of the spectrum, the 2040 and 1260v2 remind us that this brand still commands top billing in the performance running sector. In between, you’ll find a variety of classic silos like the 999 or 996 in the original grey suede getup that we were lucky enough to see a small run here in the States. That detail suggests that the set includes some possibly Asia-exclusive designs, so click through to see them all and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Hupu

It was just about six weeks ago that Nike Sportswear released a Nike Air Max+ 95 (360) that offered a glimpse at what this new silhouette can do with the OG ‘Neon’ colorway. We marveled at how the Big Bubble Air Max 95 offered contrasting gradients courtesy of its Hyperfuse construction, and by that measure, this new pair is an even better representation of that ‘nu-Neon’ vibe. These New AM95BBs apply a ‘reverse’ gradient to their base layer, and though we’ve seen that on several Ninety Fives over the years, none of those offered the kind of visual intensity you get from Volt on the laces, eyelets, ‘ribs’ and Max Air cushion. Check them out up close after the jump, let us know how they compare to the aforementioned style and grab yours at NSW stores like Social Status.

Sneaker News just showed you that the ‘Beer Bottle’ pack Quickstrikes are arriving at select retailers, and though there’s not an obvious sequel in this bunch, each of them has some connection to that duo of Nike SB Dunk Highs. The Spring 2013 Dunk High SB lineup includes a green and gold edition that just knowing its Q1 drop date, you can figure out is a St. Patrick’s Day style. Furthering the indirect linkages between these four and the two about to release are the tonal suede builds on ‘Vanilla Suede’ and brown/black pairs, while the standby ‘Venom/Spawn’ black/white colorup gets just a sip of Bud courtesy of the gum outsole they share in common. You can see in more images below how Nike SB will keep things clean for SP13; click through for more and let us know which you’re most looking forward to buying. via N-SB

First stop: Las Vegas. That’s where Team USA will oil their hinges and warm up for the World Basketball Festival in Paris en route to the Olympic Games in London. As Team USA sets forth on the ‘Road To The Gold’, Jordan Brand will follow along with the Jordan Brand ‘RTTG’ capsule, which includes this great colorway of the Air Jordan 1; if you can remember, an ‘Olympic’ Air Jordan 1 inspired by the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’ has already been done, but this version remixes those colors while adding the slick interior Vegas-inspired lining. Betting on Team USA to win the Gold isn’t a gamble at all, and neither will copping any of the RTTG releases, so check out the Air Jordan 1 below and look out for these next Saturday. Photos: gallery

Converse has been around for over a century because both aesthetically and in terms of durability, their designs are built to last. It’s a curious shift one hundred-four years in, to begin to offer sneakers ‘Engineered for Destruction’. In the case of the new CONS KA-One Vulc, it’s a case where Kenny Anderson’s Converse Skateboarding signature has been revamped so that it’s even less destructible and more capable of destruction in its own right. Anderson ripped it up from LA to Vegas in the new KA-One Vulc, its abrasion resistant suede upper riding an even more durable All Star sole, which proves a perfect match to the responsive OrthoLite sockliner. Click through to more of Kenny Anderson’s new KA-One Vulc along with photos of simplified Elm, Sea Star and CVO silos from the ‘Form and Function’ collection and be ready when these arrive at select retailers this Monday, July 2nd.

Has Kanye even worn the Yeezy 2s since they officially dropped a few Saturdays back? As his big bro Jay-Z would say, we “off that” (or Kanye’s already fully focused on the Air Yeezy 3), but one piece of apparel that will never be ‘off’ is the original Air Jordan 1 in the classic Black/Red colorway. Kanye was spotted rocking the Retros wearing a – wait for it – all black outfit, and although it’s tough to tell whether his kicks are the ‘Banned’ variety or the 2010 or 2001 Retro release, Kanye’s taste in Air Jordans has been a near-strict selection of OG colorways (and we’re leaning more towards the non-Banned anyway). More of Kanye and has AJ1s below, so take a look and stay tuned for the next Celebrity Feet sighting! Photos: theybf
