Habitat rider Silas Baxter-Neal was named Transworld Skateboarding’s 2007 Rookie of the Year, signed with adidas, then racked up Thrasher’s 2008 Skater of the Year award for a triple crown the likes of which the skate world has never seen. Silas’ first adi-signatures followed a couple of years later, and just like clockwork, the second has popped up to suggest a biannual product cycle to come. Then again, maybe the improvements in the adidas Skateboarding Silas II Pro might be enough to make them so popular we’ll get updates every year. This design keeps the traditional build of its predecessor but offers a sleeker vamp and distinctive top eyelets that direct your eye toward the ‘silas’-branded tongue tags. adiPRENE cushioning and a GEOFIT ankle collar mean superior comfort as well, so click through to see a couple of colorways upcoming for the fall season and stick with Sneaker News for release info. via FNG
