Nike Air Safari VNTG – Available

After you get past all the wine-related definitions, you’ll find that the word ‘vintage’ denotes high quality products from a bygone era. In the case of Nike Sportswear’s VNTG lineup, that translates to muted, almost rustic materials and colorways, pre-yellowing on the soles to suggest they’ve been sitting in a stockroom for two decades and now, a new feature distinct to this model currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. The Nike Air Safari VNTG gets all those aforementioned details plus an extra degree of abrasion on the suede side panels, which effectively increases the tonal depth of these designs and makes them arguably the most ‘VNTG’ drops we’ve ever seen. Check out the four pairs we’ve been previewing here on Sneaker News since last December, let us know which you like best and grab yours today from select NSW dealers like Asphalt Gold.

the VNTG treatment on the suede looks stupid and corny like a bad fade job on some pre-distressed jeans... why not just make a retro style shoe with new, clean materials???
These are pretty cool. I might cop a couple.
I might fuck with the green joints
