Funny bit of info (pulled from the ‘front page of the internet’ known as reddit): a major film studio passed on producing ‘The Watchmen’ live action film because the studio’s execs believed the script was, to put it nicely, not very good. Despite the massive budget that went into filming, ‘The Watchmen’ was still a success, in that it made a hefty profit at the box office, and today continues to be considered as a ‘cult hit’ despite its rather large box office draw. Sekure D of Australia calls himself a ‘monstrously big Watchmen fan’, so for those who share that sentiment, the inspiration behind this Air Jordan IV custom is rather obvious; he uses Dr. Manhattan’s blue-ish tones for the upper with his ‘atom’ logo at the toe, with NYC-style graffiti and the infamous ‘Who watches The Watchmen?” phrase on the tongue to give the shoe some unique flavor. Check out the gallery of this sick custom below and if you want to cop The Watchmen, get them now directly from Sekure D’s online shop.
