NIKE AIR MAX 95 WEEK

Is the Stash x Nike Air Max 95 the greatest Air Max 95 of all-time? Some may agree, while others still consider the original Neon colorway the untouchable when it comes to ’95 colorways, but either stance can’t really be argued against. We touched on Stash’s ‘Blue Pack’ when we featured the Stash x Nike Air Force 1 during Air Force 1 Week, and we knew we would revisit this 2006 release again because the Air Max 95 counterpart is in fact one of the greatest Air Max releases of all-time. These featured the same Harbor Blue colorway and introduced that durable weather-ready material on the upper, but the 95 possesses an identity all-too distinct from it’s Air Force 1 Low brother.

The Stash x Nike Air Max 95 was the first Air Max 95 to feature a speckled midsole, as Stash ‘sprayed’ it with Harbor Blue on a Black base. Not to say Stash’s rendition of the ’95 was too distant from the original, because he utilized the outstanding gradient effect to his advantage by tying in the Black with Midnight Navy to create a dusk-til-dawn effect, while the speckle gave the shoes an additional ‘night sky’ effect. The Stash x Air Max 95 is certainly one of the most sought-after Air Max 95s of all-time, floating around the $600-700 level of value, but good luck finding a pair in new condition because anyone who got their hands on these rocked ’em the first chance they got. So is the Stash x ’95 the best Air Max 95 of all-time? You tell us and stay tuned as always for more from Classics Revisited.
