Flip too quickly past this one and you might have confused it for the standard ‘Metallic’ colorway of the Air Jordan V. Nope, what you’re looking at is actually a sample pair that shares quite a bit in common with that OG look but has less color overall. The Air Jordan V ‘Blackout’ sample shown here is just one of many in a recent string of darker AJV’s that have been popping up, strongly suggesting that Jordan Brand was trying their best to whip up a solid Black Cat looking pair. How do you get a sample size in 12 anyway? suss.
All black would be nice. But you cant see the jagged fighter plane inspired grooves, which is the best part of the V.
Love the v's in black and these are dope.
