According to his public bio, “Eric Lowry is the Michael Bay of the art world; he loves to blow [stuff] up.” The artist also known as El Cappy most recently applied his special effects to the immediate predecessor to his beloved AJ6, and though these might not be as novel as his unique ‘Floral’ Air Jordan V, this new design is sure to be a hit with Jordanheads who crave exclusivity. Based on 2006’s black nubuck ‘Thunder’ Air Jordan 4, Cappy’s latest Fives offer a reminder that even as he’s passed a hundred different custom AJVI projects, there’s still an entire legacy of Air Jordan silhouettes and colorways upon which to borrow. Have a closer look at these after the jump, let us know where they rank against El Cappy’s own extensive resume and the best Air Jordan customs in general, and stick with Sneaker News for the latest.
