For years, the New Balance 991 was considered by many old school running enthusiasts to occupy that purgatory in between straight vintage and modern technical builds, but especially now in a time when all the top new runners are done with myriad synthetics, the 991’s context becomes more clear. Pictured above is a grey suede design that manages to get quite a ways from the ‘Light Grey’ OG thanks to the dark mesh and ‘N’ along with the speckled midsole, and you’ll find more photos after the jump below before buying yours at Kith.
