The textural contrast between suede and rugged nylon is a natural fit, just ask Tinker Hatfield, who successfully blended these elements on two of the five OG Air Jordan XIII colorways (and one of the two lows, too!). The aggressive playoff-oriented ‘Bred’ edition is scheduled as an early 2013 retro, but seeing as how we have six months left in this year and knowing that variety is the spice of life, how about a different take on that material combo from another 1985-born basketball series? The newest Nike Dunk High AC gives us a Sequoia suede and ripstop nylon mix along with Dark Khaki laces and a white vulc sole for a look that’s organic yet pristine, just the kind of thing you’ll want in your rotation come autumn. Click through to see them from some more angles, let us know how this style compares to earlier Autoclaved Dunk Highs and pre-order yours before the August ship date from Titolo.
