Nike Air Penny V – Black – White – Game Royal
July 17th, 2012 by Brendan Dunne | 8 comments

We’re used to the basketball sneakers of various legends living on beyond the career of the associated player, but having them straight up resurrected for an all new design is a bit of a new thing. Given the way the Nike Air Penny line’s stock has risen over the past couple of years with the Foamposite obsession we can certainly see where Nike Sportswear is coming from with this one though, and for what its worth the pairs on tap for the Nike Air Penny V seem to be covering the bases as far as the classic colorways. Anchoring a group of geographically inclined combos is the ‘Orlando’ shown here, coming as a nod to the squad Penny spent the most time with in the NBA. Click through for all the shots and let us know which Air Penny V you’re looking forward to the most. Photos: Marquee Sole

If i was to get a pair, this is the only cw i'd mess with.
...performance wise, I think this model will fit right into the PENNY legacy.
I like em but probably not the pair i'd cop
these have kind of a classic look to them in my opinion. nice shoe well executed
They look okay. Not feeling the midsole too much though.
I agree, going to have to these in person, got to see quality of that suade or nubuck on the toebox area, and i am not feeling those creases already in the heel part, other pictures ive seen acctually look better.
@FERRARI FRANK obviously nubuck, that being said, i dont like the way shoe looks and quality definitely cant save that.... that being said... im huge a huge penny dude but god damn they look ugly from the side
im going to have to see these inperson before i make a decision
