Converse MVP Mid Flywire

Converse operates independently from Nike for the most part, but it’s not much of a shocker to see some of Nike’s advances trickle down onto its subsidiary brand – much like how Flywire became prevalent in Jordan Brand’s newer models. Here’s a first look at the Converse MVP Mid – the first Converse basketball shoe to feature Nike’s Flywire; the MVP Mid features a molded upper with various cutouts on the upper like the Defcon Mid, with a Flywire-laden toe-box and ‘Flywire’ printed at the base of the laces. Will we see more of Nike’s technology on Converse’s budding basketball label? Check out the Converse MVP Mid below and we’ll keep you updated if these hit the States because they’re available now at Converse Philippines.

mega fuckin ugly
converse come on now
beautiful concept, i prefer the all black one so the shapes are more subtle. however the toe box is the worst place to put flywire, it restricts movement, total waste of money.
ugly concept
