A certain Philadelphia sports star has been tearing up the Sneaker News headlines with his Air Jordan on-field Player Exclusives, but let’s not forget Donovan McNabb, who had his fair share of Jumpman-branded Exclusives during his Eagles hey-day. Of course, these Air Jordan IXs (first shown back in December) aren’t what you’d normally expect, because these have been ‘Turf’-ed out to fit the needs of a football player, with the revamped midsole and Zoom Air cushioning on the heel (Zoom didn’t debut on the Air Jordan until the XII, but remember these Air Jordan IX PEs are dated from 2002). In addition to the unique style of the Turf Trainer, the McNabb PE logo is one to be in awe of, so check out the images below and throw in some hail-mary bids in the full listing from captain_fantastic75 on eBay.
