It’s a fact that’s been obscured by the massive success of the last three Christmas drops and color trends surrounding each pair’s release (not to mention sixteen-plus years), but back when it entered the race as the third and final OG Air Jordan XI colorway, the prevailing sentiment was that ‘Bred’ was the best of the bunch, if not the single greatest basketball sneaker ever released. The black and red Eleven’s presence lingered longer than either of the white styles and it still ranks among the very best of all time, even if the culture shock we felt first seeing its patent leather mudguard has been adjusted by time and a renewed appreciation for some of Tinker Hatfield’s other masterpieces. And just like dudes could be seen wearing their ’96s toward the end of that decade, 2008′s Countdown Pack (not coincidentally, the most desired duo of the entire Collezione) is still a go-to style when sneakerheads dress to impress. I come ontop these websites to find out info on one of my hobbys. I just watch a video on another site about some jerk who stabbed someone over the Olypics last week. Here you guys are talkin trash to someone on the computer because they don't know every detail about every sneakers design concept. Maybe should think about the kid of person MJ was and what he represented. All this attitude being throw around like your something special or a shoe makes you something special. gonna find a way to get a pair without waiting in line with hypebeast and resellers. Ppl dont even collect anymore. These shoes are older than half the ppl resellin them. makes me sick!
@Lron85 I don't think you know these were made in 1995 right. So the people reselling are under 17 I think you don't know your shit sorry. And hypebeast means a poser that follows the crowd you know that right. Not people building hype. There's a difference. People building hype are promoters like people that review sneakers. @hiphopandbasketball Kid I think you're a hypebeast because apparently it seems you don't know the history about the shoes. Tinker made these shoes hoping that the legend which was mj to come back to the nba. And also it was the first sneaker to use carbon fiber and patent leather. It was also created for MJ to also be good as formal look like in a suit or just to ball in. SMH kid it seems like you're another follower because you don't know shit and you are complaining about the hypebeast. When posting this comment makes hype also. @TENDEROCKS @hiphopandbasketball Yeah, they camp out for a lot of things, mostly for LIMITED shit and to get something ASAP (like concert tickets). Ain´t nobody camp out for a t-shirt, a DVD or a sweater, shit that you can get anywhere, anytime. All Jordan are LIMITED, once they are sold out they are SOLD OUT, they don´t restock em like they would any Nike Blazers or White Air Force 1´s. That´s why some people didn´t get a chance to get them last year, retard.

Im buying two no I will not be selling these are my favorite jordans on all time wearing one on a regular basis and the other once I graduate from Auburn University as a sign of my love for shoes and engineering. I got on my 2008 CDP's I wear them everyone almosr 4 years old and still one of my favorite.

Sticking to online ordering this year. No more 9 hour camping in the cold, the store lying about how many pairs they have, dont even have my size shit this year, no sir.

I have the CDPs, but a great way to distinguish these (aside from 23 peeling on heeltab) would be to have the white lining on the leather like the ogs. Thats would be frggin amazin

this release is gonna be worst of all. now that the people who bought the concords automatic think they become a sneakerhead by buying every jordan retro that comes out this year. they'll ruin this for sure.

And I've got shit for buying so many sneakers but fuck them thats what I love to do and they arent going to change my opinion. So it's not all the 15-20 year olds that are ruining the game. But I do agree that a lot are. As long as its limited they are going to jump on it

@jordansince1988 i'm 20. been in the "game" for 6 years. finally have a job where I can buy more than a few pairs a year, and i'm considered a wannabe? do i buy everything? no. do i buy things because they're hyped? hell no. do i buy the things i like? yes. and that's what everyone needs to do. buy the shoes you like, not the ones your friends like or the people on blogs like.

@TripleDtex I would do odd jobs and babysit and stuff but that would only mean a pair every month or two. Now I'm able to get what I want. Sorry I'm not old enough to have bought every Jordan that has released in the past 20 years. But I'm definitely not the one fucking this game up.

Copping two pairs. If possible. I had the chance to buy the Concords last year but my wallet was hurting and I decided not to. When I came around a couple hours later they were all sold out... So I´m making up for that by buying two pairs, deadstocking one and rocking the other pair.
