Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse QS “Infrared” – Release Date

July 19th, 2012 by | 3 comments

nike air max 90 hyperfuse qs infrared 2 Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse QS Infrared Release Date

Is Nike rehashing the late-2005 “History Of Air” by introducing the OG line in Hyperfuse form? As of now, just two original Air Max colorways have been confirmed for a global release – the Air Max 1 Hyperfuse taking after the first Sport Blue, and the Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’, that dropped last year in insanely limited quantities as part of the Crooked Tongues BBQ. Those sky-high re-sale prices are likely to dip down because The Air Max 90 Hyperfuse QS ‘Infrared’ will indeed hit other retailers in wider distribution, as UK retailer Size? reports a release date for next Friday, July 27th. There’s always a reason to double up on OGs, so keep your eyes and ears open as we will keep you updates with more release information as we near the launch date.

The word ‘derby’ has quite a few different meanings, but just about all of them trace their roots back to the town of Derbyshire, England.  That’s where the 12th Earl kicked off the first horse races at Epsom Downs in 1780, as well as the birthplace of the basis of the iconic blucher.  Somewhere between horse racing and footwear design is this New Balance 576 ’Derby Pack’, a trio representing ‘Fighter’, ‘Legend’ and ‘Ladies’ characters and their connections to thoroughbred racing.  Let us know which jockey’s design looks best once you’ve seen them all below and stick with Sneaker News for release info on this (presumably ‘Made in England’) spring 2013 trio.  via EUkicks

Nike Air Max 90 EM “Infrared”

The iconic early ’90s ‘Infrared’ look has been popular in Beaverton and elsewhere as plenty of non-Nike brands have offered (mostly classic runner) designs reminiscent of the original headlining Air Max 90.  But it’s Nike Sportswear who commands the real thing, and after we get the AM90 Hyperfuse and the VNTG edition, a third variaiton on the ‘Infrared’ Ninetys will reveal itself next spring as the next chapter after this year’s Fuse debut.  The Nike Air Max 90 EM comes through with a mesh upper reminiscent of the LunarGlide+ 4, so while we wait to find out exactly what that acronym stands for (and how the Air Max 1 EM turns out), have a closer look below and let us know how they compare to the other three ‘Infrared’ Air Max 90 styles mentioned above.  via TSG

Reebok Pump Fury – Black – Charged Green – Digi-Camo

Although it was introduced in the 1970′s, digital camouflage print continues to have a futuristic air about it mainly due to the pixelated micropatterns we associate with the digital space. Seems to be a perfect fit for the Insta Pump Fury, a shoe that was certainly ahead of its own time when it was introduced in the mid-90′s; the digi-camo is used solely on the upper Pump bladder, which a black base layer providing the contrasting punch of the camo print, and the electric Charged Green on the interior completes quite the next-level appeal we commonly paired with the Reebok Insta Pump fury. Endclothing has them in stock now so don’t wait around for these because they’ll disappear fast!

Nike Air Max 1 Premium – Essential Pack

Any experienced sneakerhead can tell you that Tinker Hatfield’s original experimentation with visible Air cushioning is indispensable when attempting a ‘complete’ rotation, but this pack Nike Sportswear has on tap for early next year offers a friendly reminder.  The Nike Air Max 1 ’Essential Pack’ can perhaps best be described were you to consider some of the Air Max 90′s most popular themes: impactful golden era colorways and high contrast blocking on the suede/mesh elements.  Nowhere is this subtle linkage more apparent than on the Eighty-Seven’s equivalent to a ‘Laser Blue’ do-up, and you’ll see that one along with two more on tap for spring 2013 after the jump below.  via TheIllest

Nike SB Dunk Mid – Dark Obsidian – Metallic Gold

nike sb dunk mid dark obsidian metallic gold 1 570x380 Nike SB Dunk Mid Dark Obsidian Metallic Gold

Nike Inc. already got in on The Dark Knight Rises hype with a couple of new Chuck Taylors, so that cushions the blow just a bit.  But still, it’s hard to see this new pair of Nike SB Dunk Mids and not think they’d be perfectly timed as an homage to the earlier Batman aesthetics.  The colorway is actually a very dark blue (Dark Obsidian suede, to be precise), but it does indeed come across like the OG Caped Crusader thanks to Metallic Gold accents.  In any case, the Mid’s cult following will be happy to see its strap in tact on this release just like 2008′s grey, black and yellow design, so have a closer look and check back with us for updates before the November release.  via Homespun
