To be considered a ‘pillar’ of one’s community, a person must be among their community’s key contributors, an outstanding example of an upstanding citizen. And while the late ’90s Nike Sportswear training retro pictured above can certainly claim to offer unique value, the ‘pillar’ designation should imply some regular appearances, right? Lucky for fans who remember its first run, the latter will finally be true as the Nike Air Max Pillar returns for the first time and reminds us how indispensible its unique design is when it comes to retelling the story from 1987′s Air Trainer 1 to the ’09 Trainer 1 reboot and beyond. This new Pine Green, Metallic Silver and black mix gives us a fresh taste on this model blocked after the OG ‘Michigan’ look and let us know if this August 11th release is one of the colorways you’ll add to your collection.
