The Nike Air Total Foamposite Max and Air Bakin’ Posite Boot of the past two Holiday seasons (one a Retro, another a Retro-inspired hybrid model) can be described succinctly with one word: tank. Sleek in design, but bulky in volume – the Foamposite upper and Air Max was indeed the perfect shoe for the sneakerhead who prefers the street stomper with daunting size. However, the upcoming Hyperposite changes all that, placing Foamposite and Hyperfuse in all the right places for a can’t-miss formula of ‘Breathability’ and ‘Lockdown’. We’ve seen Amare Stoudemire receive a sick Knicks PE of the shoe, so is Nike telling us that this shoe is aimed at big-man? Foamposite certainly fortifies the shoe for maximum protection, while Hyperfuse keeps the feet cool and lithe – perfect for fellas like STAT, Chris Bosh, and any other NBA forward who integrates agile mobility into their post game.
