Will Team USA Basketball be celebrating their own personal ‘Golden Moment‘ when the Olympics come to a close on August 12th? We certainly hope that’s the case, because one week after London closes the door on the 2012 Olympics, Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan Golden Moment Pack – a USA/Olympic-inspired duet of the Air Jordan VI and Air Jordan VII. It would certainly make for an…awkward situation if the only USA Gold in August comes in the form of sneakers, but Team USA has proven their elite status by handling their international opponents quite easily during the exhibition game period. When pictures of the 6's first came out, they had white laces...now all the pics have these gold joints...I hope they come with both colors so I can swap the gold out for the white
My friend got his & they're not early releases either. Sent me pics & they look incredible quality wise. The VIIs are much nicer...the leather is amazing

The 7s ruin this pack
I think the red kills the White/Gold VI. At first, I thought that changing the laces to white would help the shoe, but the red is upsetting.
@KRAYZIE47 There is hardly that much red to begin with! I actually want more red! Just get some white paint and change the VERY little red there is into white or gold.
Quality looks like shit from the photos. i'm sure the hypebeast don't give a fuck, smh.

@jstforkicks22 Well, we've been inundated with nothing but horrible pics since word of this release. Nothing looked better than the artist rendering of these shoes. Noting your use of the word "premium", I'm going to assume your not using that word flippantly. "Premium" in my book is Bin 23 status and up. :-/

Perhaps you should expand the limits of your mind and realize that not all "Sneakerheads" are the same. I remember when we were first seeing pics of the pack and the 6s were the only ones that I wanted. Now the 7s are the only ones that I want. The 6s don't look all that great anymore.
The 6s kinda look like brown, not gold. Weak either way.
THANK YOU. Some sane people agree with me. Yes to the black 7s. No way to all white 6s with gold highlights. Totally lame on that one. The dopest part of the 6s is the color blocking. The design is made to have a multi color blocking. When its all white like that its just a blank canvas with no art on it. Imagine some black mixed in there man, and you coulda had a dope shoe jb!!!!!!!
