It’s likely that you completely missed out on copping the Nike Zoom Vapor Tour 9 ’287′, which was a tribute to Roger Federer’s record-breaking spot at #1 (take that, Mariah Carey). There’s still some more tennis to played this season, so while it certainly would be an awesome treat to see R-Fed rock his Black/Gold ’287′ PEs, it’s more likely to see him wearing thi snew White/University Blue-Black colorway of his signature shoe. Such an supremely-design sneaker built for Federer’s top-notch game was actually designed by Tinker Hatfield on an iPad of all things, but that doesn’t mean the shoe is meant for light work. Eastbay has ‘em in stock if you’re looking to switch up your grass/clay-court footwear.
Did anyone else know tinker "stole" this design? It was on another designers desk, mostly complete, and he said he'd take it from here.
