The final third of the calendar year is going to start off with a bang, as the Air Jordan VII in the original Black/True Red-Dark Charcoal-Club Purple will hit Jordan Brand retailers at the first of the month this September. Even if you copped the 2009 release of the Air Jordan VII Defining Moments Package, these have that tonal pitch-black upper that is more akin to the 1992 Original and 2002 Retro. The shoe isn't suppose to be all black like that. I hope these aren't official pics!!!! There is suppose to be a difference in color on toe box and side panels!
@TarikThevideofreakSykes The OG and 2002 were all black. What made the OG more "charcoal" was because the suede faded on the upper. This looks all nubuck like the 2002 joint. Although I would not mind a suede upper on these as long as it's black. I will be getting these joints.

@devin_thedudee The last retro of these was closer to the OG. That is too big of a change to me! Can't call it "Dark Charcoal" if they are going to be all this wack ass NUBUCK.

Smooth, these r lookin nice in the pics ive seen. I was pretty happy with quality on the Olympic 7's so most likely im gonna be copping these. Hopefully there not too much hype with these.

Usually jb doesn't put out the official pics till the week of the release, but I guess they changed it now. These look good and I'll most likely cop. Right before school :(
