Warren Sapp Auctions Off Air Jordan Collection
The much-publicized financial troubles of NFL great Warren Sapp spilled over into the sneaker newswire, as the former Jordan Brand athlete has opted to auction of his vast sneaker collection in order to pay off his creditors. Sneaker News has featured a number of Sapp’s on-field Air Jordan Cleat PEs, but now you can take some of Sapp’s personal collection directly from him – as long as you wear a size 15 shoe. Apparently Sapp’s debt is in the millions, so hopefully some of his Air Jordan sales will chip away at that massive number! Check out some of the notables from the available stash below and head on over to TMZ to peep the entire 240-pair collection.
i understand he's on team jordan but damn, enough with the team jordans. the Casual j's are pretty clean tho. i never really looked at 'em before.
How do you have financial troubles with millions. Paying his bills and living within his means and he would still have everything he ever wanted lol! But we always want to out-ball the next dude smdh
I think he would've been better off selling each pair separate. Also what sucks about this auction aside from most of the kicks is that they want you to pick them up and there is a reserve price.
I don't understand how you can make millions in your career and blow thru all of it. Manage your funds. Bill Gates didn't get rich by spending money as soon as it touched his hand
man, sapp was a jordan tester. b/c all those jordans above was the best ones he had. he had some nice 6 rings, and a few notables but def not a heat collection. thought i'd see some OG jordans with nike air on them. but i went threw all 244 but those above are the best and i have almost all those
I would have thought somebody who was sponsored by Jordan his whole career would have a better collection.
@dopeman978 hell yea... looks like any shoe with a jumpman logo on it frum last April, he bought with the quickness... a lot of shoes, but not too much heat. Espc frum sapp's standards
@SeanGAllMichiganteams I was thinkin the same thing. Had all the retros frum the Bordeaux up to he playoffs 12s. But no big releases b4 April 2011
@MaxwellWright Never say never. Only time I sold a shoe was cool grey 11s and I made almost $200 profit. I hate resellers but, I needed the money then...
