LunarLon has been injected into many Nike Skateboarding designs in order to find the best balance of cushioning and board feel, but what happens when you make an entire deck out of Lunar foam?! That’s a question being answered at the Nike Innovation Hunt in Japan’s capital city, where art inspired by Nike Flyknit and LunarLon technologies have been tucked away in the latest great sneaker scavenger hunt. This ‘Volt Collection’ showcase for the newest Nike tech also includes Flyknit Be@rbrick figurines, soccer balls and a fixed gear bike along with LunarLon sculptures including traffic cones, benches and (hilarious) dumbbells. Have a closer look after the jump, let us know which is your favorite piece and if you have any other ideas that you’d like to see manifested in this style.
