The whole “bring Nike Air back” argument is one that has seemed relatively futile for as long as it has floated around message boards and social circles in the post-millennium era of Air Jordan retros. Has all of that racket finally amounted to something though? It kinda looks like it, as the much anticipated Air Jordan 1 in the OG black and royal that is on tap for 2013 will indeed be Jumpman free (save for the insole) as shown in the first photos popping up here. Why is it that everyone on this site slanders and ridocules the new generation. Im 18 and no i never seen MJ play in person, no i never seen him on tv win his 6 rings! I have a passion for shoes and the culture all together and i dont have the money or time to be buying every release that gets put out! So every "kid" 15-20 arent what you think we are. Some of us love sneakers as much as you but there are some who are in it just for the money just as there is probably some older guys who do the same thing.
As someone who caught the tailend of his career I'd advise you to youtube it. A smoothe stylish game that he made sure was translated into his shoes.
YES! But i rather get the White/Red retro 1s releasing next year. But if i can get these i will for sure!

Crazy thing is with all the 1s JB releases most are always slept on. Expect these to sell out and therefore every Air Jordan 1 afterwards. Sad state of affairs going on with the sneaker game. Don't buy these off resellers. U can prolly get an 01' pair for the same price they're gonna charge.

@Sneakerhead2320 whats yur email deff have the 2001s those banned will look good on my stack. and btw deff seen jordan play at the mci center as a wizard in 2001-2003 when he average 20 as a 40 year old so i have say. not one of these little as hypebeast buddy walked in and walk out to buy shoes years ago just like u didn't see him in his prime

@Sneakerhead2320 YEAHHHH !!!! School that lil kid bro, couldnt of said it better myself. I just turned 39, I remember when all this started. I seen jordan play many times. So i feel ya. These kids nowadays think just cuz they saw jordan on YOUTUBE they know everything and are experts. Sneakers for them are just hype, people that actually saw and lived through that time have a different love for the shoes MJ wore.

@dfvdfv Haha! Son you have no idea, I was in this sneaker game when you were still shittin' green son. I got shoes older than you.. I don't camp out.. I don't own military blues & I bought 2 pairs of Royal/Black 1's in 2001 when JB sold these for $79.99 each not $160.00 like they will probably be next year, I won't be in line camping out with all the hypebeast like you when these release next year.

As a matter of fact only the '94 retros, the 2001 retros & the Banned 1's say "Nike Air" on them & I'll bet my pair of Banned 1's that you don't have any of those... So Idk what you mean by all 1's have "Nike Air" on them...
By the way I'm a 35 year old man who actually saw Jordan play in person, not on youtube like you kids, who only know about Jordan because of your older brother & his friends. I wear what I like, not what's Nike or some website feeds me...

I wish JB drops these and the OG bred colorway with the nike air tags but these pics are just samples & JB has a tendancy of not giving us what we really want so im jus gunna have to wait patiently and see.
@scottybuddz They did, The Banned 1's had everything you're asking for even real leather & 3 pair of shoe laces...
